Hart’s Fine Books is home to a vast array of books and ephemera collected by members of the Hart family over the last hundred years. The collections reflects their tastes and interests. It includes rare and first editions. Books date from as far back as the 1700s, with the majority having been published in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Most of the ephemera relates to the early days of the American film industry.
Hart’s Fine Books is named in honor of owner Rosalind Reichner’s late husband, William S. Hart Jr., a consummate collector of rare books until his death in 2004.
